Jaguar S Type Gearbox Faults. Jaguar S-Type Maintenance Schedule. Gearbox Fault Sorted The problem. Can i replace just the tie rod or do i need to replace the whole rack and pinion. Its possible it will be a cheap fix but I doubt it.
Im going to take it to the local auto gearbox place tomorrow. Switch off engine and the fault would go until you reached the speed again. A spirited getaway from a junction a few days resulted in a bit of DSC intervention followed by a Park Brake Fault caption a bit later. My care is driving beautifully yet my Jaguar dealer said I need a new transmission-to the tune of 580000. Joined 1 mo ago 1 Posts. 05 s type no crank stuck in park. The next day when starting the car it reported Gearbox Fault DSC unavailable and Park Brake Fault. My car hesitates and then does a slight lunge while driving around 10-35 mph.
